Maybe I'm not the right person for these questions because I don't use Windows SRs but I know something about PEB/SCbus etc.

Answers:
1. Only old Dialogic SRs support PEB. AFAIK only old SRs support SCbus boards in standalone mode. In other words, you must use Scbus cable (it was free of charge before, I think it's $35) and you don't have to use terminators.

2. Terminator is not needed for standalone mode if such mode is supported in SR you use (which is not case, I believe).

3. I don't know.

4. I tested up to six D/160 boards under SCO Unix and RH Linux. For XP I don't know.
