Black and White Capture with VStream XPert

I wonder if it's a similar sort of issue, with one of the modules somewhere assuming NTSC (or SECAM) where it should be using PAL....does cx88_dvb any options you can set in modprobe.conf? Or perhaps one of the other related modules (at a guess, nxt6000, sp887x, dst_ca, dst, bt878, cx24110, or51211 etc)?

If you're using ivtv, there's a mention on Jarod Wilson's Fedora/ivtv/mythtv tutorial for PAL/SECAM users (the UK is PAL) if you get only black and white: try putting the following in /etc/modprobe.conf and reloading ivtv:
 
 options ivtv tda9887=0
 
I haven't found this necessary for my PAL PVR 150, but it might work for you. Worth a shot, at any rate.

Thanks David, but there's no ivtv involved (I don't think - I don't know anything about ivtv!). I'm using the cx88_dvb module, which FC5 loaded automatically. This is my second dvb-t card, (the first is a bt8xx based Twinhan).
