Hello to all, (especially for Carsten Klein)

Do you know, which function is responsible for calculating the tableheader
rows?
Because i have a problem with two tables. I want no space left between
them, but if the table has only 1 to 3 rows, i doesn't work.
If the tableheader only has one row (witch the endHeader()), it works fine.

May you help me?

Sissi

Carsten Klein has completely refactored this functionality,
you should ask him rather than me.

:-(
Thanks..

But now i know whats the problem!
The problem causes of the table header, which is 3 rows.
It works fine, if the table header has only 1 row.

Do you know, which function is responsible for calculating the tableheader
rows?!
Maybe i can help others with this information.

Sissi

The Table class is very, very hard to debug.
Many different people have worked on it,
and because of all these different contributions
that were added at a time when I wasn't able
to do thorough testing, the class became instable.

It was easier to create a new table class PdfPTable
than to debug class Table.

What you are asking now, is to do something
I didn't find the time and the courage for in the
last three years in a few days time.

I'm sorry, but that is impossible.
You could have more chance if you asked it
on the mailinglist, but I doubt it.

br,
Bruno

Hello Bruno,

i did it, as you told me. Now i use PdfPTable, but in one case i have to
use tables.
And now i have a problem with this table (the only one):

I have to tables:
table 1
table 2

i set the function "setOffset" with
table 2.setOffset(-10);
because you should not see any space between the two tables.

So, if only 1 to 3 rows on the new page, the two tables won't close!
And don't know why.
I found out, that it must be a problem of the table header, because if i
don't use endHeader(); the problem doesn't exist.
And i also found out, that the vertical-position of the first table is
alway 503.00 (up to 3 rows)

In the attachment you will find an example.
Would you be so kind to you help me?
