Resize a PDF

Hi I am student, and for a project I'm using iText.
 
I want to insert different PDF file ( A4 portrait format) in one PDF (A4 
landscape format).

And I have 2 problems 
I want to know if it is possible to resize the incomming PDF to a smaller size 

And I want to know if it is possible to delete blank part ( not a page ) in a 
incomming PDF so it will have a smaller size
