How TO Become an IText Deveoper

I've made some (pdf-specific) changes in the past and sent them to Paulo.  Some have been accepted, some not.

I'm not so sure about being granted write permission to their CVS directly.  I'd imagine that a history of accepted patches and a request for access would do the trick.
