differences in output

    I am in operations, and our developers have created an application that uses your iText toolset for JasperReports.  We are having a problem where the PDF file generated in WebSphere 5.1 cluster are producing different outputs.  Attached are the 2 different outputs.  We are using JDK 1.4.2 from IBM.  The application is being deployed across a WebSphere cluster.  The JasperReports is 1.2 (jasperreports-1.2.0.jar) and iText is 1.3.6 (itext-1.3.6.jar).  The operating systems is AIX 5.2 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 update 2.
 
    Can you give any possible reasons why subtle differences would appear in the same output from 2 different nodes of a clustered application?  The output is also corrupt on our Linux RHEL4 update 2 nodes.  We have six nodes in our clusters, 4 AIX, and 2 RHEL 4. We get the correct output on 3 AIX nodes.  We get the corrupt output from one AIX node and 2 Linux nodes.  The corrupt outputs are all identical from all 3 nodes that produce corrupt output.
 
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
