Checkbox issues

That worked, I was trying to figure out what it was because it was 
returning a "Yes", is there any documentation that explains what the 
methods do? I have followed the api documentation, but it just says what 
it passes and what you need to pass it.

You don't have to guess, call AcroFields.getAppearanceStates().
