Not displaying Days

Hi all,

i have the following problem:

i need to display a Date to pdf (for excample Monday 29/05/06).
The problem is that i cannot see the day in pdf.

the code to write the date is the following:

colText.setSimpleColumn(new Phrase((element.getValue()).toString(),font),
fX + m_fLeftRightMargins, fPageHeight - fY + m_fTopBottomMargins, fX + fWidth
 + m_fLeftRightMargins, fPageHeight - fY - fHeight + m_fTopBottomMargins,0,
iHorizontalAlignment);
